Dressing Clinic procedures for the Outpatients Department at CRCH

Procedures / Wounds WE ARE ABLE to treat

  • Abcesses
  • Any post-operative surgical wound (including wound checks)
  • Burns
  • Clip/staple removal
  • Dehisced wounds
  • Infected wounds
  • Larval therapy
  • Negative Pressure Therapy (VAC/PICO or equivalent)
  • Pressure damage - which has resulted in an open wound. Please note - we are unable to offer continence or equipment assessments.
  • Skin grafts
  • Suture removal
  • Abrasions
  • Blisters
  • Cavity Wounds
  • Compression Therapy
  • Incisions
  • Lacerations
  • Leg ulcers - venous, arterial or mixed aetiology
  • Pilonidal/Perianal sinusses
  • Puncture wounds
  • Steri-strip removal
  • Trauma wounds
  • Dermoscopy

  • Blood thinning injections
  • Continence/equipment assessments
  • Lymphoedema bandaging
  • Surgical drains/Nephrostomy ongoing care
  • Vascular Access Device dressings
  • Chest drains - e.g. Pluerex
  • Eye drops
  • Skin conditions
  • Urinary catheters
